Julie Okada, CEO
Julie Okada is the CEO and a Partner of Triad Consulting Group. She partners with organizations to achieve their goals by transforming working relationships. As an advisor, facilitator, and coach, she helps leaders grow their capacity to clarify direction, make hard decisions, strengthen relationships, lead others, and get along—when success depends on it, but working together feels especially hard.
Previously, Julie was a Partner and Global Head of Learning & Leadership Development at Brunswick Group, the global advisory firm. She was a Managing Director at Duke Corporate Education, working with Fortune 500 clients on talent development initiatives. Julie started her career at PwC, where she designed the Canadian firm’s inaugural gender diversity initiative.
Julie has worked across a range of industries and sectors, including industrial manufacturing, healthcare, energy, technology, consumer goods, and financial services. Her representative clients include American Express, Caterpillar, AstraZeneca, the International Monetary Fund, Nike, Microsoft, and the Federal Reserve.
Awarded with distinction, Julie has a Bachelor of Science from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, a Master of Public Health from Emory University, and a Master of Arts in Sociology, also from Emory University, where she was a Laney Graduate School Arts & Sciences Fellow. Her research has explored how we make meaning from work and the impact of workplace culture on career trajectories. Julie’s writing has appeared in publications such as Rotman Management Magazine.
Born and raised in Toronto, Julie now calls Atlanta home, where she lives with her husband, kids, and beloved pets. Restoring her first home, that started out uninhabitable, has been one of her most satisfying challenges to date.
