Julie Okada, CEO
Julie Okada is the CEO and a Partner of Triad Consulting Group. As an advisor, facilitator, and coach, she partners with organizations to achieve their goals by transforming working relationships. She helps leaders expand their capacity to clarify direction, make decisions, build trust, lead teams, and get along—when success depends on it, but communicating and collaborating well is especially hard.
Previously, Julie was a Partner and Global Head of Learning & Leadership Development at Brunswick Group, the global advisory firm. Prior to Brunswick, she was a Managing Director at Duke Corporate Education, advising Fortune 500 clients on talent development, learning strategies, and leadership programs. Julie started her career at PwC, where she designed the Canadian firm’s inaugural gender diversity initiative.
Julie has worked across a diverse set of industries, including industrial manufacturing, healthcare, energy, technology, consumer goods, and financial services. Her representative clients include American Express, Cisco, Caterpillar, AstraZeneca, the International Monetary Fund, Nike, and Microsoft.
Julie has a Bachelor of Science in Biology from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, a Master of Public Health from Emory University, and a Master of Arts in Sociology, also from Emory University. Past research has explored how we make meaning from work and how workplace culture shapes career trajectories. Julie’s writing has appeared in publications such as Rotman Management Magazine.
Born and raised in Toronto, Julie now calls Atlanta home. Restoring her first home, that started out unhabitable, has been one of her most satisfying challenges to date.
