Speaking up clearly and effectively is a critical skill for leaders and team members alike.
Unexpressed perspectives can result in poor decision-making, decreased productivity, and overall disengagement. And yet, many experienced professionals struggle to communicate so that their ideas are heard, to engage disagreement constructively, to give feedback upward or to negotiate for more autonomy.
At the heart of this struggle is a diagnostic challenge. Why are you having trouble speaking up, in this instance? Many people are terrific advocates for others but not great at representing their own interests or viewpoints.
Speaking Up allows us to examine common roadblocks that hinder even smart, confident individuals from being heard. We’ll introduce practical strategies to help each person speak up with clarity and impact.
Our workshop enables individuals to make better decisions about whether, when and how to speak up, and introduces prescriptions for how to achieve greater clarity and impact in communication.
