Senior Consultant

We have an employment opportunity for a Senior Consultant with a preferred start date by early 2025. This position is fully remote.

As a Senior Consultant, you will:

  • Lead and support client engagements of various forms, working in partnership with clients and Triad’s team, including Triad’s Partners and other Consultants, to develop tailored programs from the diagnostic through delivery and evaluation phase. Engagements will typically include the design and delivery of learning workshops; leading team interventions; and facilitating mediations

  • Facilitate workshops and team sessions both in remote and in-person settings

  • Support business development activities, including responding to inbound requests, undertaking research to support client development efforts, drafting proposals, participating in pitches and contributing to Triad’s sales processes

  • Manage operational aspects of client engagements, including contracting, pricing, and managing projects day-to-day, in collaboration with our Operations and Support Team staff

  • Contribute to Triad’s IP development efforts by undertaking research, developing new content and methodologies as part of client engagements and contributing to thought leadership

  • Be a fully engaged colleague who builds collaborative working relationships with team members and supports the development and growth of others

As a Senior Consultant, you should:

  • Possess the background, experience, and skills that Triad clients would hold credible, including work background and academic accomplishment

  • Hold a graduate degree from a top tier institution in a field or discipline that hones superior critical thinking, writing and analytical skills, such as an MBA, law, or social science degree

  • Have a minimum of 7 years of professional experience, including at least 5 years in client-facing roles in a premier consulting or professional services setting

  • Have experience facilitating workshops to a diverse range of participants and group sizes

  • Have a track-record of managing and growing client engagements and/or relationships at global corporations

  • Possess strong client relationship management skills and demonstrate the ability to become a trusted advisor to clients; thrive in client service, appreciating the high-intensity and unpredictable nature of client service work

  • Be intellectually curious; have excellent written and verbal communication skills; have superior analytical and critical thinking skills, able to see patterns and distill insights

  • Be willing to travel the equivalent of 1-2 weeks per quarter to deliver in-person workshops at client sites (note: most client travel occurs in increments of 1 to 3 days)

  • Be a growth-mindset oriented, self-starter who is comfortable working remotely and is able to build strong relationships with colleagues and work productively despite being geographically dispersed

  • Be a quick-learner who can become steeped in Triad’s content and methodologies, while also bring a fresh perspective and outside best-practices to help Triad continue to improve and evolve as a firm

  • Have an aptitude for excellent commercial acumen and fluency, being able to quickly understand clients’ industries and business models in addition to having a good sense for how a professional services firm operates

  • Have a passion for organizational behavior, leadership development, talent management, and L&D

As a facilitator, you are:

  • Able to explain complex ideas in simple, engaging ways

  • Able to hold space (virtually or physically), bringing an energetic, open and thoughtful presence that engages the audience

  • Able to craft a story to illustrate a clear, memorable point, often with humor

  • Able to connect with individuals in a wide variety of corporate and non-profit contexts and groups, large and small
